Nessuno dei professionisti coinvolti aveva, infatti, mai lavorato su un set come quello di BENVENUTO: in occasione dello shooting in una spiaggia nei dintorni di Amsterdam, le immagini girate sono state ostacolate da un centinaio di paparazzi che, con macchine fotografiche e telecamere, hanno disturbato le riprese, costringendo il regista a lavorare circondato da lenzuola che proteggessero l'inquadratura.

L'alto numero di persone accorse sul set, tra curiosi e professionisti dell'immagine "rubata", ha infine costretto le autorità olandesi ad intervenire per ristabilire l'ordine pubblico e consentire al gruppo di Laura Pausini di ultimare le riprese.

Nel video, BENVENUTO è un tam-tam, un invito al cambiamento, una sorta di "yes you can", un richiamo alle cose essenziali, alle emozioni nuove, alle piccole cose di tutti i giorni e alla bellezza delle cose semplici. Nel videoclip la scenografia è l'uomo e i colori sono quelli della nostra natura: il colore di un prato, il colore di un sorriso, i colori delle cose e dei valori più semplici.


«E' il ventesimo shooting che realizzo con Laura. Lavorare con lei è sempre stimolante,- racconta il regista Gaetano Morbioli, che per Run Multimedia ha curato la produzione del videoclip - Laura non vede mai il solo particolare, ha sempre una visione di insieme sul progetto. Uno sguardo che non le fa mai perdere di vista l'obiettivo e che la rende interprete unica ed eccezionale di qualunque pellicola si stia girando. Il feeling tra noi è davvero speciale. Le basta vedere un'espressione sul mio viso, un movimento della mia mano dietro il monitor, per capire quello che in quel momento le vorrei dire, l'indicazione che le vorrei suggerire. In questo senso, la complicità nel nostro rapporto, rende il lavoro con la telecamera una conseguenza naturale delle nostre conversazioni».


Il video si sviluppa nel racconto di un viaggio verso un luogo magico, dove sarà messo in scena un concerto unico. Prosegue il regista: «Ci siamo divertiti moltissimo a ricostruire una situazione che evocasse in qualche modo i grandi raduni di un tempo, una sorta di Woodstock di oggi, con centinaia di persone coinvolte, in cui al centro ci fossero i sorrisi, le cose vere, le persone autentiche; proprio come dicono le parole della canzone. Una sorta di omaggio a un evento straordinario che rivisto oggi, a più di quaranta anni di distanza, mostra inequivocabilmente la sua autentica bellezza, senza alcuna usura per il tempo passato».
